The Junior Account Executive position is an inside sales role that offers a solid training opportunity to high performing individuals, who have thrived in a prior sales environment. In this role, you must be comfortable placing heavy outbound calls to generate business, and have a strong desire to work in finance and account management. This position offers a hands-on training program involving: commercial trucking, equipment financing, leasing terms, deal structure, underwriting and credit guidelines. In this role, you will be calling trucking companies and truck dealerships to source business. You will be responsible for generating interest and leads and nurturing these into credit applications.
This position is designed as a training platform to prepare you for promotion to our sales teams. (The Account Executive roles pays higher base salaries and offer uncapped commission plans. This position offers tremendous room for growth within our expanding organization based on the ability to meet performance standards).
Specifically the DMR will make 150+ calls per day to business owners to solicit applications for financing on capital equipment of all types including Construction Equipment, Technology Equipment, Commercial Vehicles, Working Capital, etc. Successful candidates will be promoted after 3 months to a Senior Account Executive role, which is a higher paid sales role with unlimited commission.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY / JOB DUTIES
•Initiate calls to customers who have applied to our lease financing program to revive interest, explain new financing options, with the end goal of creating credit applications holding accountable and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
•Meet and exceed call activity targets
•Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
•Source credit applications from business owners applying for financing
•Logically document and maintain data in Salesforce.com
•Maintain and build a database of prospective clients
•Help maintain accurate lead distribution and reporting in Salesforce.com
•Assist on other marketing and sales related projects as assigned
•Interface with the portfolio management and collections teams and provide support on calculation of net book value, payoffs, and invoices.
•Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service / follow up skills

Graduation Metrics:In order to graduate from the Jr. Account Exec position, you are expected to have a total of 15 deals fund from the credit applications you source within a 3 month timeframe. Once the 15 deals funded goal has been reached, you graduate and will be promoted to Account Exec, and will then be creating your own leads while funding deals as well.
